Robert Kessler -
Since 2008 he is a member of Son Madol and impresses the audience with his tasteful sound and his rousing guitar solos.
The young Berlin exception guitarist plays in numerous projects such as Swing Bop Trio (Beboptrio), Robert Kessler Quartet, On Cue (Swing), Groove Deluxe (soul band), Mantigo (Brazilian band), the Björn Missal Band (German soul), Jazzeria (quartet), Jazzroyal (vocal jazz) and various big bands (Berlin Big Band, Kompass Big Band, Dietrich Koch Big Band).
Robert is born 1984 in Jena, raised in Berlin and begins a classical guirtar education at the age of 11. Since he is15 he dedicates himself intensively to jazz, completes the study engagement education at Musikschule Berlin, and studies jazz and pop music at the Hochschule für Musik 'Hanns Eisler' from 2004 to 2009 successfully.
Among others he played with musicians such as Manfred Dierkes, Jiggs Whigham, Peter Klinke, Jan von Klewitz, Thomas Koch, Greg Brown, Finn Wiesner, Rolf von Nordenskjöld, Rolf Zielke, Björn Missal, Max Hacker, David Beecroft, Felix Wahnschaffe oder John Hollenbeck, Tobias Relenberg, CD Bandorff, Bernd Rathemeyer, Kurt Rosenwinkel und Rolo Rodriguez.
